Reframing is a a standard practice in our household, with probably the most common being two beliefs Dave and I state outloud when something comes up:

“I don’t know HOW, however…”everything always works FOR me, so it will be interesting to see how it all works out!”
    AND/OR
“There’s a blessing in everything, so I simply need to look further until I find it.”

The shift happens fairly quickly now, after years of this practice and many examples to drawn upon for its validity.

This week with our assignment though I spent some extra conscious scrutiny. I found a situation that needed reframing, felt the shift around it, though found when telling Dave about the situation a little later, I was giving too much time speaking to it, which suggested both a waste of energy and more needed to shift within me. I used some SRM the next two times it popped up and the minor residual was gone.

Hello all – This week felt like “old home week” for me – I have been practicing the practice of conscious reframing for over 30 years – using many excellent methods – and teaching it to my clients at my work. I eagerly overlaid what Heather showed us and I was able to go even deeper! I had major breakthroughs and happy little ones with my SPG and the next logical steps. I also know that everything in our lives – all experiences, all people, all so called obstacles – are there according a a perfect plan – my soul plan – so get excitied – smiling here because I can hear all of our dear GIN mentors saying exactly that. I particularly love the immediate first step of setting the tone of my attitude with “Now that’s interesting, why it’s even curiously interesting, please tell me what this is about!” I also have added the breathing into my morning movement “playcises” while simultaneously listening to one of my favorite guided mediation recordings. The bringing together the thought, feeling and movement anchors whatever I want to anchor quickly for me.

Looking forward to Tuesday! Patti Heredia

    Hello:

I have been applying the conscious Reframe workout to my best. I feel very content and every day I made progress and feel pretty good. the one that works very good for me is the feel good dial. When I wake up and my mind turns into a whirlpool with all kind of concerns I put my hands on my belly and turn them clockwise. The very first effect is that I go to Neutral very fast and from that point everything is easier.
Yesterday sharing my strategies with Maria I realize that I achieved my SSG. When it comes to the increase of my business margin, I focused on a 10% and I got a 23% which is very cool.
So now I am going for the new cycle.
Great program thank you Heather you deserve infinite love.

Of course, I too have been studying and teaching reframing to my patients since my psychiatric residency 35 years ago, so the concept is hardly new to me.
This week was “interesting”, topped off by a even more “interesting” day yesterday where I felt hijacked by time and circumstances. I used the SRM while driving, stuck in traffic then getting lost, which at least allowed me to enjoy my time being hijacked! Needless to say, I did not feel very positive or productive this morning. So I re-watched the Video Recording to really understand Heather’s Reframe process (I love those shorter videos, Heather, they are beautiful and so, to the point!) I actually stopped the video at the point when Heather said to draw the dial and write down the suggested emotions on each number, then write out your OWN emotions for each number. I had a shocking realization: on MINUS 7, I feel NOTHING. I would have thought that I was at ZERO, i.e. neutral. But NO, when I get to that state, the next step at MINUS 8 is “I don’t care” which is actually how I hijack myself out of feeling overwhelmed. VERY INTERESTING COGNITION!

Here is my PLAYWORK: Wasn’t really “feeling” this process, which is even more amazing that it still worked amazingly well.
    1. For my warmup I did 360 (counterclockwise) while declaring to my monkey mind that I was taking control.
    2. For the Body: I used the Feel Good Dial to shift from that MINUS 7 to PLUS 4 EXCITEMENT, which seemed like a big shift( and maybe not believable?) BUT it worked…(WHAT JUST HAPPENED?) After that, I really did feel excited about how easy and fast that worked!
    3. For my Finale: 360 (clockwise) while declaring ” I love feeling better and better and better! Thank you thank you thank you!!!”
In all took maybe 4 minutes that I didn’t feel that I was “trying” or getting excited about it. BUT afterwards I felt that I was breathing easier, more energetic and felt 50% less weighed down but what I had been dealing with during the previous days.
Then I called my accountability partner and shared this with her and we had an awesome, really down to earth conversation that actually expanded my positive feelings. Although we both had to move on to other commitments for the day, the positive feelings for me continued to expand and expand. Thank you, Heather, for creating such wonderful shortcuts for us!

Reframing…is my life. I start negative and end up positive…it is an interesting exercise in being curious. I keep asking myself “what’s next?” and checking in on how I am feeling. My daily exercise of working on my SSG has yield Awesome results…I was able to release some physical and mental weight. My SSG has me working on achieving my ideal body weight and constantly checking in to make sure I feel good about my current body. With that said, it has been an interesting exercise in not being tied to playing the numbers game. If I see no change on the scale, I can go through lots of reframing until I settle on something that makes me feel better. Now I find myself asking how do I feel about my body and giving it thanks when I completed 3 workouts in 1 day (I actually did a 45 minute 5:30 am indoor cycling, walked for 1 hour and later that same evening, I participated in hour long indoor cycling class. – I had so much fun in the morning class and was curious to see how I would feel taking another class…and I felt AWESOME!) Life is so sweet! Now I am celebrating! Thank you, thank you…thank you.

The reframing is wonderful especially when I get curious. Something has been coming up for me regarding finances and it comes in different ways. I’ll laugh sometimes, and say things like, “oh this is interesting, here you are again” and that takes away the sting. Most times I remember to put a different frame on it and see it differently. By doing this, I feel so much better. Worrying, asking questions like “why is this happening to me again” or getting upset won’t really help so being curious and reframing the challenge is the best way for me to move through it.

    This conscious reframing is amazing!

Full confession – I went into total overwhelm after the call. There was so much to take in. For a few days, I slept in, read a little bit in think and grow Rich, worked, and didn’t do much in terms of conscious reframing. Today I went back through the video (including love is in the air!) and it all started to click. I printed out all of my screen grabs of Heather’s slides and took notes as I watched the replay. Now I get it. This information had to integrate. This mastermind is POWERFUL. It’s like drinking from a firehose.

I look forward to reframing tonight tomorrow morning and every night and morning hereafter. Thanks for your patience. I’m literally setting up a new way of living my life. Wait till I start a success cycle fresh – I’ll own this thing – and as Marlen suggested, do the inner work first! The track to win on should be simple after that.

I had some challenges in last last few weeks.

I had challenges in the relationship area so much so that, I started to feel intense pain in the neck as I previously stated.

This week I had to go to acupuncture just to have my neck move again.

The down side of acupuncture for me is that it releases a lot of negativity — So much so I could not attend to the mastermind meeting for more than 20 minutes…

I’m ashamed to admit it but I got really angry at people having so much successes and I feel stuck since week 2.

    On the bright side…

I was able to meet with Colin Cambell this week. He’s a brilliant copywriter and I learned a lot from his advices and possibly his mentorship.

I’m very grateful for this opportunity, it’s the first time I have the chance to be mentored and learn a skill that I’m passionate about.

I’m studying copywriting extensively this week and I had to push all my other assignment to really focus on learning so I can be of service to Colin.

I didn’t do much more but I feel I should do the SSG again since I have a clear HOW on how to become good. There is basic exercises that train you to become a master copywriter.

I could do a day of dreaming and start the success cycle over…

Reframing is amazing! This week I felt a shift and lots of fun things come into my radar. I applied the conscious (and unconscious) reframing method many times, and will continue doing so. On Friday I was in such a good mood, I got to the point where I was looking for the next hijack to try it out again, haha!

But the most exciting part of this week is that I finally saw a change in my SSG score. It had been plateaued for a while (really since we started, with very little movement) and this week my belief about my health, confidence and happiness in relation to my body jumped by at least 10% for each. The neural pathways for the unsupportive side of those 3 were pretty deep, so this is a big win for me.
Not only that, but the increase in those beliefs has started affecting my actions – I’m suddenly eating a bit less, skipping or not finishing dessert etc. But all of it with no effort. This was my masterplan all along and it’s working 🙂

I am not quite at my SSG yet, but I am getting there! And I’m so happy I jumped so much this particular week – although it was all a result from the work done since starting this awesome mastermind!

This week I felt exhausted from doing inner work, so I decided to focus on outer work instead. I remembered that I’m always happiest when I’m in the process of creating something I like. So I took a break from thinking about subconscious rewiring & conscious reframing, etc., and finished composing a musical piece for the piano, and it felt great.

Though I didn’t consciously practice conscious reframing this week, I did come up with a technique to use as soon as I notice that I’m feeling a little low:
    1) Warm-up: Put my hand on my heart, take a deep breath, smile, and say “I love life.” (I remember Peter Ragnar mentioning something like this.)
    2) Body: CREATE something, anything that feels good, just get in the act of creating. For example, today I simply took a pen and paper and created a list of all my favorite things that I really love, everything that makes me happy.
    3) Finale: Take a deep breath, and say “Thank you.”

first of all many thanks for the suggestions for reframing. I’ve been reframing in different ways for more than 20 years now and through gin I’m more aware of it. I find the procedure in the different steps very interesting. For me, the following steps are important when something really triggers me: 1. acknowledge that it is there and then see it as an opportunity that it is good for something and helps me forward (something happens is really interesting). Otherwise I am not getting at cause I do not take responsibilty. As 2nd step what do I feel and as next what would I like to feel the positive feeling to it and then it goes a step further into what gives me the feeling of ……or even a step further what am I willing to do. I just applied it and I realized how I was able to extend the positive feeling and really say thank you to the universe. That is then the third step of the finale. It’s very nice that we have all of this in a map. I also like the 360 degree rotation it is a great addition.
In simple situations I am able to realize how we all know in gin training I look at something I don’t want and then turn it around to what I really want. Thanks a lot for all the elements and possibilities we got.
