A full and good week!
Pure Focus & Priorities
I kept on top of my P3s everyday by using Google Keep for my two different daily lists:
1) my ‘Top5’ priorities
2) my S.A.V.E.R.S. tracking (from The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod for anyone who’s unfamiliar) which for me is simply an expanded version of the GIN daily system.
What I found is by increasing focus on my top highest 2 priorities, ‘5’ priorities was really unnecessary and at times became a distraction. On the days I had 5, they became more tasks versus priorities. In hindsight I might have moved the chess pieces forward more had I focused on just 2 and am going to look at that more closely this week.
My primary focus for the week was to assess my activities and systems as well as identify blocks and beliefs for me to release and replace surrounding them. Following each morning meditation I wrote down beliefs/ blocks/release statements that had been revealed, then completed release/rewiring breathwork. By doing so, a few key insights showed bringing more clarity to a chief aim that will provide a stronger pull for completion of my SSG. This process was further magnified by daily reading of Tim Ferriss’ book The 4-Hour Workweek (thank you Heather for the reminder) which provided a good ‘shake-up’ for me to look at things another way and challenge old beliefs/practices that became the source of more release/rewire work.
And Play!
My play is typically centered around taking a midday break for daily outdoor exercise along the water or through the woods. While I am consistent with that form of play, I challenged myself to add some other form of play beyond that. I created some relationship playtime for Dave and I to take off one sunny afternoon for a happy hour at a nice restaurant on the water to celebrate hitting a commissions milestone for the month.
