ParticipantA full and good week!
Pure Focus & Priorities
I kept on top of my P3s everyday by using Google Keep for my two different daily lists:
1) my ‘Top5’ priorities
2) my S.A.V.E.R.S. tracking (from The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod for anyone who’s unfamiliar) which for me is simply an expanded version of the GIN daily system. What I found is by increasing focus on my top highest 2 priorities, ‘5’ priorities was really unnecessary and at times became a distraction. On the days I had 5, they became more tasks versus priorities. In hindsight I might have moved the chess pieces forward more had I focused on just 2 and am going to look at that more closely this week.
My primary focus for the week was to assess my activities and systems as well as identify blocks and beliefs for me to release and replace surrounding them. Following each morning meditation I wrote down beliefs/ blocks/release statements that had been revealed, then completed release/rewiring breathwork. By doing so, a few key insights showed bringing more clarity to a chief aim that will provide a stronger pull for completion of my SSG. This process was further magnified by daily reading of Tim Ferriss’ book The 4-Hour Workweek (thank you Heather for the reminder) which provided a good ‘shake-up’ for me to look at things another way and challenge old beliefs/practices that became the source of more release/rewire work.
And Play!
My play is typically centered around taking a midday break for daily outdoor exercise along the water or through the woods. While I am consistent with that form of play, I challenged myself to add some other form of play beyond that. I created some relationship playtime for Dave and I to take off one sunny afternoon for a happy hour at a nice restaurant on the water to celebrate hitting a commissions milestone for the month. ParticipantI an feeling somewhat behind this week. I did set aside time to do the 68 second focus and unfortunately did not do that every day. I started a new thing. In addition to writing in my gratitude journal things that I am grateful for, I write about my day as if my priorities are already done. I do this in the morning when I first get up. The writing makes me feel good and I’ve been able to accomplish many of the things that I said I would do. Part of my celebration was to spend the day with six other women sharing and laughing. These women and I have known each other for over 25 years. It was fun.

ParticipantPure Focus- the 68 seconds each morning has helped me stay on track and more calm through out the day. And texting it to my AP Maria has helped.
Priority- I am “last minute” posting and just looking back at my weekly planner (I’m a paper based guy) I can see what happened- life & business. Business days are never predictable. No so much shiny objects as just all kinds of business situations, challenges and opportunities popping up continually, and they still are this morning (Trying to issue a life policy and my login isn’t working). That has created a real challenge in focusing on my Top 5 Priorities. Mostly, they rolled forward to the next day with maybe only 1 or 2 accomplished. So I have cut them from 5 for each of my 2 businesses to 5 total and that is helping.
Play- I never really thought about it but my “play” times tend not to be so much daily but in large chunks less frequently, depending on the definition of play. To me “play” is hiking, camping, trips, hunting, fishing, etc. But each day I do take breaks and go do something physical, like split wood for the New England stove In the living room, or like yesterday I cut the lower limbs off some pine trees that hang don on top of the cars when it snows heavy. I love chainsaws and get carried away.November 5, 2019 at 11:14 #3789Heidi Bell
ParticipantI actually did post last Sunday & tried 2x but unfortunately the file never submitted successfully I had an Amazing in person meeting with Ara my accountability partner. He has been a huge support system and I consider him a friend. He taught me how to link a picture with this week’s play work ( a first) & has encouraged me with non judgement to forge ahead systematically & with purpose. Thank you Ara! I was asked to be a judge for an event in the Filipino Community for Halloween. It was an incredible evening. The surprising unrelated bonus was that I have expanded by contacts with influential leaders within the community. I am excited to be doing my follow ups next week & to cement these new relationships. I absolutely loved this week’s assignment. I added embellishments & my personal touch to my wings and I was very excited and pleased to be the only judge in costume-a beautiful & unique butterfly! I shall definitely schedule more play time in my routine- it has made me realize that creativity has been seriously lacking in my life. My inner child is reborn & is guiding me towards my “Happy Place! Thank you Heather for incorporating this aspect in the Mastermind! This has been an eye opening & truly awesome experience!

Participantthis week I had my absolute focus on our event. So it was just one priority with many aspects. It was amazing. Very deep relationships had been developed between the people. I did the 68 seconds exercise every day and it was very interesting how it went deeper and deeper. There were a lot of situations with funny plays on the weekend. I had already told David in advance that the best play exercise for this week will take place on Saturday evening. I had invited a colleague of mine who does laughter yoga. We had such great fun that we couldn’t stop laughing.
So I asked for a photo of me and David that evening. One of them he posted in what’s app. The other fotos from the weekend I need time to look at them.Attachments:
