Revised Sweet Goal: From chaos to organized: I will begin by decluttering my kitchen: from the cabinets, to table, including but not limited to the items on the floor surrounding my kitchen table. I plan to have 50% containment of the kitchen by the end of this week. I will be just scratching the surface of all the items to be organized in my home…but taking steps are the key. Each day I work on this project, I plan to reward myself by making a meal that includes a protein and vegetable as outlined in the MindValley – WildFit program.
Action Steps: Have a positive uplifting audio to listen to in the morning (I already listen to one at night but I noticed that I forgot my morning time activity). Continue with my morning mediation by asking myself “what does my heart want to tell me?” (which has assisted me in understanding that my clutter and need to “hang onto stuff” is directly reflected in why I keep this weight on my body). And when I feel stuck or upset by something, I will use EFT (tapping) to work though the process. By scheduling time to focus on different areas of my home by cleaning or decluttering it, I believe I will experience breakthroughs on my own psychological challenges as to why I find it difficult to shed my weight…and maybe I will finally come across the key to my self sabotaging behavior.
ADDITION: My reason for having this Sweet Spot Goal is because I want to feel good in my body by having my blood pressure under control and participate in activities that I enjoy such as walking, jogging and eventually possibly participating in a marathon again. (My belief on this is a 8 and my excitement is a 9).
